Committee Vacancies

The Charlotte Harbor Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee is seeking four volunteers; two business representatives and two residents. Members must be residents of Charlotte County. Meetings are held quarterly in the Administration Center at 18500 Murdock Circle. Meetings are generally held on the first Monday at 10:30 am. The Murdock Village Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee is seeking a licensed general contractor to serve on the committee. Volunteer must hold a valid Florida contractor’s license and be a resident of Charlotte County. Term will expire in Oct. 2022. The Agricultural and Natural Resources Advisory Committee is seeking one member with expertise in commodity production. The term begins immediately and will expire Dec. 31, 2023. Email Diane.Clim@charlottecountyfl.gov  or call 941-743-1956.

  • MPO – Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) are seeking one Charlotte County resident to serve as an At-Large Representative (applicant must live in Charlotte County); The CAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects that the MPO Board will consider.
  • MPO - Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) is seeking one volunteer representing the Private Transportation Industry (applicant must live in Charlotte County). The purpose of the LCB is to identify local service needs and to provide information, advice, and direction to the Community Transportation Coordination of service to be provided to the transportation disadvantaged. 
  • MPO - Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) are seeking a South County resident of Charlotte County to serve on the BPAC. The BPAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects that the MPO Board will consider.
