The Charlotte County Utilities Department issued a temporary suspension of new line extension requests, for residential properties only, effective Oct. 19, 2017.
If you have an active building permit issued by the Community Development Department that requires a line extension and you have not paid the line extension fees to the Utilities Department, you must complete and submit the application and pay all line extension fees by no later than Friday March 30, 2018. A line extension will not be included in the schedule for installation of service(s) until all line extension fees have been paid in full.
Failure to pay all line extension fees by March 30, 2018 will result in cancellation of the line extension for your property.
