Project Updates
 
Update 7/24/18: The BCC approved the Initial Assessment Resolution and set a Public Hearing for November 13, 2018 at 5:01 p.m. at the Murdock Administration Center.
Update 6/5/18: The BCC held a workshop to discuss the El Jobean Sewer MSBU Methodology. Agenda
Update 1/30/18: The BCC directed the Utilities Department to move forward with the MSBU approach for the project.
Update 11/21/17: The BCC directed the Utilities Department to move forward with the design of the wastewater collection system for the properties on the east side of El Jobean, and the design of the vacuum station that will eventually serve both the east and west sides of the El Jobean project area. The Utilities Department has been directed to draft policies for consideration based on the Charlotte County Sewer Master Plan recommendations. It has not been determined whether this project area will be an MSBU project or financed through the Utilities office. 
Update 10/17/17: A presentation will be provided by Giffels-Webster Engineers to the BCC on 11/21/17 at approximately 10 a.m. at the Murdock Administration Center. The agenda also includes updates on the Sewer Master Plan.
Update 9/18/17: The next project presentation will likely be scheduled at an upcoming Fall BCC Meeting. Date and Agenda to follow.
Update 6/28/17: Clearing activity will begin at 4070 Railroad Ave. for water and sewer infrastructure.
