Centennial Park Recreation Center Ribbon-Cutting Jan. 9

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Jan. 3, 2020) – The Charlotte County Commission will commemorate the opening of the Centennial Park recreation center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Jan. 9 at the facility at 1120 O'Donnell Blvd., in Port Charlotte.

The public is invited to attend.

The 30,000-square-foot building was funded by the 1% local option sales tax approved by voters in November 2014. The recreation center features a gymnasium, fitness center, multipurpose rooms, community garden and Community Services administrative offices.
