Charlotte County Sheriff Rescinds Curfew
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 13, 2017) – The emergency order enacted on Sept. 9, 2017 which instituted a 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. curfew as well as a ban on alcohol sales was rescinded today, Sept. 13, at 5:15 p.m.
“Based on this afternoon’s update at the Emergency Operations Center, the Emergency Order for curfew and alcohol sales was no longer determined to be necessary,” stated Sheriff Bill Prummell. “I want to thank all of the citizens for their cooperation during this storm event.”
