Utilities Quarterly Meeting, Special Meeting and Workshop May 19
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (May 12, 2020) – Charlotte County Commissioners have scheduled a Utilities Quarterly meeting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, in Room 119 of the Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, Florida. Discussions include but are not limited to a resolution adopting East West Spring Lakes Capital Project and presentations on fiscal, financial model, utility, and project updates.
Charlotte County Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, in Room 119 of the Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, Florida. The purpose is to consider a Resolution Extending A Local State of Emergency and to hear a presentation on COVID-19 update.
The meetings are open to the public and citizens input is welcome at both meetings. Alternative means to provide comments in writing are available for individuals who cannot or do not wish to attend in person. Written comments may be submitted by emailing the comments to BCC_PublicComments@CharlotteCountyFL.gov, or completing a form available at https://bit.ly/2JVnbZz. Comments must be received by 9 a.m., May 19, for the Utilities Quarterly meeting or 1:30 p.m., May 19, for the special meeting and they will be read by a County staff member to the County Commission and a copy will be given to each board member. Comments about Charlotte County Commission agenda items submitted by email will be read into the meeting record ONLY if a name is included in the submission.
Charlotte County Commissioners will hold a workshop at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19 in Room 119 of the Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, Florida to discuss the MSBU proposed rates and assessments for budget FY2020-2021 prior to any July 2020 MSBU public hearings. The meeting is open to the public but there will be no public input.
