Cold Weather Shelter Open Thursday Night 

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2020) – The National Weather Service is forecasting near-freezing temperatures Thursday night. The Homeless Coalition, 1476 Kenesaw Street, Port Charlotte, will be available to provide shelter to persons needing refuge from the cold. The shelter will be open from 7:00 p.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday. The American Red Cross will be supporting the shelter with cots.
