CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 13, 2017) – Information on applying for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) assistance for Hurricane Irma disaster recovery:

FEMA Disaster Assistance hotline: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362)
FEMA TTY (hearing impaired) hotline: 1-800-462-7585

Ways to Register:

  • Online: www.DisasterAssistance.gov
  • In Person: Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in our area have not yet been setup yet. Updates to come.

Information You Will Need:

  • Social Security number
  • Address of the damaged home or apartment
  • Description of the damage
  • Information about insurance coverage
  • A current contact telephone number
  • An address where you can receive mail
  • Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit of funds
