Learn to Fish Seminars


CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 31, 2019) –Charlotte County Libraries will be hosting a "Learn to Fish" seminar series with Capt. Josh Olive. This series has hands-on education experiences led by The Fish Coach, the host of Radio Waterline and publisher of WaterLine Weekly Magazine. Topics include finding the right rod and reel, tying knots, becoming a better caster and more.

This free program will be held at three of our library locations on the first, second and third Saturdays of each month at 10:30 a.m from Nov. through May. The series begins in November:

Nov. 2 at the Englewood Charlotte Library, 3450 N. Access Road, Englewood.

Nov. 9 at the Mid-County Regional Library, 2050 Forrest Nelson Blvd. Port Charlotte.

Nov. 16 at the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library, 401 Shreve St. Punta Gorda.
