Make a Play Date with Community Services
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (June 26, 2019) – Summer is here, which means it's time to get your play on. This July, discover the power of play with Charlotte County Community Services as it celebrates Park and Recreation Month. Fun activities are planned for residents of all ages and abilities — including youth, adult and senior programs.
Park and Recreation Month is an initiative of the National Recreation and Park Association and highlights all the ways parks have the power to transform our lives. From providing us places to play, get fit and stay healthy to fostering new relationships and forging a connection with nature, our close-to-home community park and recreation facilities provide essential services and improve quality of life.
The values of integrity, customer service, partnership, innovation, and stewardship are how Charlotte County government defines how we conduct ourselves. Community Services strives to exemplify those values daily. We are committed to honesty and excellence in customer service. We are committed to working cooperatively within the community, and being good stewards of our resources. We are committed to being innovative in the delivery of quality of life experiences including the celebration of Park and Recreation Month.
Community Services will celebrate Park and Recreation Month July 13, 2019 with free admission to pools and free parking at beaches and boat ramps.
