Special Meeting April 7


CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (April 6, 2020) — Charlotte County Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m., April 7, 2020, in Room 119 of the Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, Fla. The purpose is to consider a resolution declaring an increased risk of wildfires, and imposing restrictions/prohibitions on open burning and discharge of fireworks; a resolution extending a local state of emergency; and to hear a COVID-19 update.

The public is invited to attend and provide input. Alternative means to give testimony in writing are available for individuals who cannot or do not wish to attend in person. Written comments may be submitted by emailing the comments to BCC_PublicComment@CharlotteCountyFL.gov. Comments must be received by 1 p.m., April 7. They will be read by a county staff member to the County Commission and a copy will be given to each board member.
