Notice of Intermittent Lane Closures and Workers Present on US41 at Burnt Store Road

Port Charlotte, Fla. (July 13, 2017) – Intermittent single lane closures and workers present on US41 at Burnt Store Road starting Monday, July 17. County forces will be conducting routine traffic signal maintenance. Advance warning signs and arrow boards will be present to direct traffic when needed. Travelers may experience intermittent, slow moving traffic and/or temporary delays within the project limits and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.

Depending upon weather conditions or unexpected delays this project is expected to be complete on or before July 21, 2017. Weather conditions or unexpected delays could possibly extend work into the early part of the week of July 24, 2017.

The Public Works Lighting District reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
