Nighttime Construction at Peachland and Loveland Boulevard Intersection
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sep. 09, 2019) – The traffic signal project at Peachland and Loveland boulevards will require nighttime construction between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. beginning Wednesday night, Sept. 11 and finishing Thursday night Sept. 12. This nighttime work is required for milling and re-paving the intersection during non-peak traffic times.
During the work, expect loud noises and temporary lane closures during the nighttime hours. Flagmen will be on site to control and direct traffic. Speed limits in that area have been reduced and law enforcement will be patrolling periodically. Travelers are encouraged to choose an alternate route when possible.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
