Tom Adams Bridge Post Hurricane Irma Inspection


ENGLEWOOD, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2017) – Charlotte County consultant will be preforming a Post Hurricane Irma Inspection on the Tom Adams Bridge Friday, Sept. 29. The bridge will be open to vehicle traffic. The inspection team will be in the water so mariners should exercise extreme caution in the vicinity of the bridge. It may be necessary to have intermittent lane closures; if so traffic signs and flaggers will be on-site as needed to direct traffic.

The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
