Utilities Department Implements Customer Payment Plans

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (June 24, 2020) – The Charlotte County Commission passed a resolution at yesterday's meeting to implement payment plans for Charlotte County Utilities' customers who are late or delinquent on their utility bills. These payment plans will allow customers to pay back their past due balances slowly.

"We understand many of our customers are still being impacted economically and need the flexibility to pay their bills. As a member of this community, Charlotte County Utilities stands with its customers in combatting this virus and its impacts on the public's health and economy," said Utilities Director Craig Rudy.

Once the emergency declaration is lifted, the department will work with each customer for an affordable payment option.
