Winter Candy Land at Mid-County Regional Library Dec. 16

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Dec. 7, 2017) – Mid-County Regional Library is hosting a family event on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017. Drop in between the hours of 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. and enjoy Candy Land inspired games and crafts. There will be cookie decorating, hot chocolate drinks with special toppings, ornaments created on the library’s 3D printer for children to paint, and much more. At 11 a.m. there will be a special reading of “The Night before Christmas” by Clement Moore. Children will also be able to visit with Santa Claus—a great photo opportunity for parents and grandparents. The Candy Land board game was introduced in 1949 and many people remember it as the first board game they ever played. The game’s colorful and sweet characters are still beloved by children today. Come celebrate the sweetest time of the year with us at our Winter Candy Land event!

Mid-County Regional Library is located at 2050 Forrest Nelson Blvd. Port Charlotte. For information contact Hana Brown at 941-613-3170 or Hana.Brown@CharlotteCountyFL.gov.
