CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FLA. (Aug. 26, 2024) – Charlotte County joins elected officials, water utilities, community leaders, educators, and businesses from across the country for the tenth annual Imagine a Day Without Water, a National Day of Action that aims to raise awareness about the true value of water and the importance of investing in water infrastructure.
Led by the Value of Water Campaign, over a thousand organizations nationwide will raise awareness on Oct. 17, 2024, about not taking water for granted and the crucial need for investment in our nation’s water systems.
Please join us for a tour of the Burnt Store Water Treatment and Reclamation Facility, 17430 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The tour will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the intricate process of providing water and wastewater treatment and reclamation services to the community.
