CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2024) – Sidewalk and signal work will start on Quesada Avenue, on Thursday Oct. 31. Intermittent lane closures will occur as the contractor installs sidewalk on Quesada Avenue from Cochran Boulevard to Forrest Nelson Boulevard. Advanced warning signs will be in place to aid in travel through this area. Travelers are encouraged to choose an alternate route when possible.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
