The Ainger Creek Bridge required various bridge repairs, the County selected a design firm to perform a detailed bridge inspection, prepare a repair memorandum and provide complete construction plans for the bridge repairs.
The project includes concrete repairs, expansion joint repairs, clean and seal bridge deck and approach slabs, approach guard rail replacement, replace sidewalk approach slabs, new concrete gravity wall (safety repair), replace portions of sidewalks, new aluminum pipe railing, replace existing rip rap at end bents, cleaning bridge and class V coating, replace pavement markings.

Completed Work as of October 19 - 30, 2020
Construction has started on the Ainger Creek Bridge Repair project. The week of October 19, 2020 the Contractor is installing the maintenance of traffic and mobilizing equipment to the project site. The Contractor starting clearing and grubbing on the Northwest side of the bridge and demolition of the rip rap at the end bent on the North side under the bridge.
On October 20, 2020, the County is meeting with Englewood Water District staff to discuss the sewer line on the east side and water line on the west side of the bridge, we want to coordinate construction activities.
The week of October 26, 2020 the crews started the replacement of the Northeast side bridge approach slab, crews removed the old slab and new concrete poured. On the Southeast side the crews prepped sidewalk approach slab removal and concrete pour. Crews continue to also work under the bridge preparing for the Fabriform installation on the South side under the bridge.
