Disaster Recovery Site - Rotonda Water Facility

This page is a Disaster Recovery Site of multiple projects related to Storm Damages.

Project Description

The site sustained extensive storm damage across multiple areas. Buildings experienced roof, soffit, fascia, and ceiling damage, with water intrusion affecting interior finishes, insulation, and equipment. The Storage/Workshop Building was destroyed, suffering major structural failure with non-salvageable components. Maintenance sheds, MCC buildings, and treatment plant structures also sustained significant wind and water damage, requiring temporary emergency repairs.

Site fencing at the southeast end was damaged by flying debris, leaving gaps at the base. Electrical systems, including generators, pumps, and control panels, sustained impact and water-related damage, and one antenna was dislodged. Site lighting was also affected, with at least one bent steel pole and dislodged fixtures.

Overall, debris, structural damage, and compromised infrastructure throughout the property will require extensive repair and replacement.
