In an effort to streamline the inspections process, we are providing notice of a procedure change. The change relates to the Windborne Debris Protection inspection and the Accessibility inspection on certain permit types. Effective immediately, these inspections will no longer be loaded on the job card and in the Accela permit management system as separate inspections. These items will now be inspected as part of the Building Final inspection.
For those that already have a Windborne Debris or Accessibility inspection printed on your job card, please continue to schedule the inspection as you normally would. The Building Division will then process those inspections and arrange for the Building Final inspection to be completed instead.
