The provisions of the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012 went into effect for some owners as of Oct. 1, 2013. Below are several resources to help you understand the provisions and determine if you may be impacted.

IMPORTANT UPDATE – Legislation has been introduced to delay the effective date of this bill until an affordability study can be done. Charlotte County has sent a letter to our legislative delegation supporting this delay.
