The purpose of this notice is to inform the building industry, and other interested persons, about a new service as well as three new and/or revised forms.
Effective immediately, an automated courtesy email will be sent to subcontractors letting them know that they have been added to a permit. As a result, subcontractor signatures will no longer be required on the Subcontractor Worksheet.
Also, there are three new and/or revised permitting forms, which need to be transitioned to usage within 30 days of this notice, as follows:
· New/Revised Subcontractor Worksheet
· New/Revised Subcontractor Change Request Form
· New Authorized Agent Affidavit (only contractors may use this form to designate an agent to handle permit related activities)
These forms are posted on the Forms & Documents page of Community Development’s web site www.charlottecountyfl.gov/dept/commdev/Pages/Forms-Documents-Listing.aspx under the “Permitting Forms & Documents" heading.
