The purpose of this notice is to inform the building industry, and other interested persons, that effective immediately, roof replacement permit applications on property located on Manasota Key must be reviewed and approved by the Manasota Key Advisory Committee as part of the permitting process. Note: this applies to roof “replacements” and not roof “repairs.”
The Committee meets bi-monthly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 9 a.m. Applications to be reviewed must be submitted at least one (1) week prior to the Committee’s meeting. Buddy Braselton, Planner, will be the staff liaison between the Committee and the applicant.
