The CCHC Society is a local non-profit organization now known fondly as the “Society,” and is our fundraising arm which provides thousands of dollars annually toward our Charlotte County History Services program budget. - Free admission on every visit to 300+ science centers, museums and botanical gardens worldwide (21 in Florida) through the
ASTC Travel Passport Program.
Individual memberships start at just $25/year. For more information, or to purchase a membership, contact the CCHC Society at 941.613.3228.
*Membership Applications take 7-10 business days for processing via Society volunteers.
CCHC Society Volunteer Corps - Hundreds of CCHC Society volunteers donate thousands of hours to assist the small professional staff with all aspects of planning and presenting historical programs, preparing exhibits, staffing special projects and fundraising events each year. Some folks donate their sewing and carpentry skills, for example, and others help with annual events and fundraisers.
With a small paid staff, Charlotte County History Services could not operate without the support and assistance of dedicated volunteers. A variety of opportunities are available to fit all interests and schedules. Volunteers assist with special events and programs, processing memberships, help with office tasks, and much more. If you'd like to learn more, please contact History Services at 941.629.PAST (7278).
