What goes in the recycle carts?


Newspapers
Junk Mail
Magazines
Phone Books
Paperboards
Cardboards
Plastic Containers codes 1 through 7 only (empty and free of food)(no bags)
Cartons (no liquids)
Steel Cans
Clear, Brown, and Green Glass
Aluminum Cans
Shredded paper in paper bags or cardboard box (no plastic bags)

What does not go in recycle carts?


No plastic bags (return to supermarket)
No foam (egg cartons, cups, meat trays, foam packing materials, etc.)(can be returned to supermarket receptacles)
No pool covers
No food
No extension cords or Christmas lights or wires
No coat hangers
No toys
No electronics or hazardous materials
No yard waste
No medical waste (sharps, medicines, etc.)
No plastic bags of any kind (collect and return to supermarkets)
