Effectiveness Measures:

Human Services has consistently leveraged the expenditure of county funds. In 2012 the county dollars spent were $6,169,207  while the total expenditures were $12,242,367, on a ratio of 1 to 2.

The graph depicts the number of low-income households served on an annual basis. The reduction in 2010 represents a shift to a more intensive case of management focus. Fewer families are served, but the emphasis is on a transition to self-sufficiency.

Charlotte County parallels the trend at both the state and national level but at a consistently lower percentage.
