School Zone Speed Enforcement System Citations Being Issued

Charlotte County is implementing school zone speed enforcement cameras to enhance safety. The warning phase of the program ended March 31. Violators will receive a citation notice by mail if caught speeding.
Marine Advisory - South Gulf Cove Lock Opening April 2-6

To help raise water levels in the canal system, the South Gulf Cove lock will be opened from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., starting Thursday, April 2 through Saturday, April 4 and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 5 through Monday, April 6 to allow water flow. These times may vary depending on the tides.
**REVISED** School Zone Speed Enforcement Citations will begin to be Issued April 1
