Tommy joined Charlotte County as Community Services Director for Charlotte County in 2013. Prior to joining Charlotte County, Tommy was the Recreation Manager for the City of Boise in Boise, ID; the Executive Director for Encore Facility Management in Youngstown, OH and Rio Rancho, NM; the Public Relations Manager and Public Event Coordinator for River Parks Authority in Tulsa, OK.

Babcock Ranch School Field House Shelter Relocated

The shelter at Babcock Ranch School Field House at 43281 Cypress Parkway, in Babcock Ranch has been relocated to Harold Avenue Regional Park Recreation Center, 23400 Harold Avenue, Port Charlotte.

County Opens Permitting Site in Englewood for Residential Storm-Related Permits

The Charlotte County Community Development Department has opened a pop-up permitting site at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex, located at 6868 San Casa Drive, Englewood. This location will assist homeowners and contractors with residential storm-related permits.
