CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (July 30, 2026) – Ann and Chuck Dever Regional Park Pool, located at 7001 San Casa Drive in Englewood, will remain closed for repairs. The anticipated reopening date is Friday, Sept. 4, 2026. Aug.1 During the repair process, additional leaks were identified that require attention, in addition to replacement of the well pump.
All identified leaks have been repaired. During final inspections, additional safety concerns were identified that must be addressed before the pool can safely reopen. The remaining work includes repairing the pool's interior lighting and correcting uneven concrete surfaces on the pool deck.
These improvements are necessary to ensure the facility is safe for public use before reopening.
Final inspections can take up to two weeks once all repairs are completed. The safety of patrons and facilities is our top priority.
