Project Description
The Bayshore Grass Parking area was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton. A new assessment is required to confirm that the previous design will still meet current project needs. Submittals have been received, and an engineer of record has been confirmed. Contract negotiations are in progress, and once final designs are approved, the County will advertise the project for construction bids to begin reestablishing and hardening the parking area.

Progress is underway for the Bayshore Live Oak Park parking phased improvements. Don B Construction has been selected, and upon Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) approval 04/28/2026, the project will move forward with removal of the existing grass surface and installation of open pavers.
