Burnt Store Road East-West Connector

Project Description

Charlotte County has undertaken this study in response to the future growth along the Burnt Store Road Corridor. The purpose of this study is to prepare a transportation traffic modeling analysis to identify future capacity needs and a preliminary engineering and environmental evaluation to establish a preferred east-west roadway alignment to connect Burnt Store Road to US 41. Final design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction phases are not funded.

Zemel Road to the North, Burnt Store Road to the East, Notre Dame Boulevard to the South, and the US 41 and Green Gulf Boulevard intersection to the West

Latest Updates

At the September 24, 2024, Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Board adopted Alternative #1 as the preferred alignment for the Tuckers Grade Extension from Burnt Store Rd to US 41.
