Project Description
Acquired in December 2003, the Burnt Store Water Reclamation Facility provides wastewater services to residents and businesses in the Burnt Store area of Charlotte County. When it was acquired, the existing capacity of .25 million gallons per day was being upgraded to treat .5 million gallons per day. Since 2003, the Burnt Store community has grown exponentially. To better meet the needs of customers in this service area, an expansion project will increase wastewater treatment capacity from .5 million gallons per day to one million gallons per day.
Project Location
17430 Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33955.
