Project Description
The project will add two sidewalks, one on Caring Way, from Olean Boulevard to Gertrude Avenue, and one on Brinson Avenue, from Caring Way to Harbor Boulevard. Additionally, the project will incorporate the removal and replacement of any of Charlotte County Utility Department's (CCUD) infrastructure located under or impacted by the future sidewalks.
The project may be constructed as one or two separate projects, which will be determined before the bid advertisement.

The professional services committee has reviewed proposal requests for design services, and the recommendation has been presented to the BOCC. The BOCC has approved staff to negotiate with Johnson Engineering to define the tasks and fees to design the projects.
