Project Description
This project replaces older high-pressure sodium (HPS) lights with new LED fixtures along major roadways. The upgrade improves lighting quality, reduces energy use, and lowers maintenance costs. The LEDs provide a cleaner, brighter light that enhances safety and visibility for drivers and pedestrians while supporting long-term efficiency goals.
Charlotte County is continuing its effort to improve roadway lighting by converting older high-pressure sodium (HPS) fixtures to modern LED technology. The project delivers brighter, more reliable lighting while reducing energy use and long-term maintenance costs.
