Project Description
This project incorporates the design and construction of new turn lanes and traffic signal modifications. New left and right turn lanes will be added to Cochran and Veterans Boulevard intersection along with roadway widening, drainage improvements, signal modifications, sidewalks, and pedestrian crosswalk improvements.

Starting the week of February 18, 2026, crews will be working at night to mill the existing roadway, pave the new lanes, and stripe the roadway to its new configuration. The roadway will be open to traffic utilizing the newly designed turn lanes. These activities represent the final stages of the project and are nearing completion.
