Disaster Recovery Site - Centennial Fishing Pier

This page is a Disaster Recovery Site of multiple projects related to Storm Damages.

Project Description

Hurricane Ian caused damage to site signage, including the entrance sign, associated bolts, and the supporting fill material. Significant erosion was observed around the pier and boardwalk areas, requiring rip rap stabilization in multiple sections. Approximately 4.44 cubic yards of rip rap will be needed for a 10-foot by 12-foot by 1-foot section, and 14.22 cubic yards for an 8-foot by 24-foot by 2-foot section. The fishing pier, totaling 2,500 square feet, sustained substantial damage and is assumed to require a complete rebuild.
