Disaster Recovery Site - East Port Environmental Campus

This page is a Disaster Recovery Site of multiple projects related to Storm Damages.

Project Description

Storm damage across multiple facilities resulted in widespread structural, roofing, and equipment impacts. The Administration Center and Field Operations Building B experienced major roof and water intrusion, damaging ceilings, carpets, and interior finishes. Steel shelters 1-3 sustained metal trim damage, with minimal impact to shelter 3. Break gazebo hinges and storage shed 1 roofs were damaged. Fencing across the site was affected, including 80 ft. of leaning aluminum fence and 20 ft. of fallen fence. Parking lot lighting poles were displaced or leaning. Erosion and pond damage included tearing of the HDPE liner on a 95-million-gallon reclaimed water pond, soil washout around stormwater structures, and berm destabilization requiring temporary fill and repair. Equipment losses included belt filter press failures, fan housing and ventilation damage, and compromised lightning protection. Additional impacts included trailer displacement, siding and downspout damage, roof drip edge loss, and light pole failures, highlighting extensive recovery needs across multiple building types and site infrastructure.
