Disaster Recovery Site - Historic Courthouse

This page is a Disaster Recovery Site of multiple projects related to Storm Damages.

Project Description

During the storm events, the courthouse sustained extensive damage: floors 1 and 2 have been dried, but the basement has likely flooded again. The exterior washout has created sinkholes. Damages include compromised electrical circuits, an inoperable elevator, water intrusion in the basement and second floor, and multiple single-pane window frames damaged by flooding. Specific interior impacts include Room 230 (Rep. Steube's office) with water intrusion affecting fixtures and contents. Overall, significant content damage occurred, and the basement experienced major flooding.
