Project Description
Charlotte County sustained extensive damage to fencing, antenna systems, and associated site infrastructure. The damage includes galvanized steel and PVC-coated chain link fences, barbed wire, tension bands, posts, rails, gates, and privacy slats. Many fence sections were displaced, bent, or destroyed, with multiple gates non-operational. Total losses include vinyl fencing, decorative lattice panels, and perimeter fencing, with numerous posts needing resetting or replacement. Barbed wire and gate hardware were damaged, and some fencing was partially separated from corner posts. Antenna-related damage was significant, affecting SCADA, Yagi, and AMR antennas, as well as support poles, steel masts, and three-legged tower bases. Antennas were bent, leaning, or broken, and associated coaxial cables, transmitter poles, and foundation footings require repair or replacement. Sump pumps, air release valves, valve vaults, and other utility components were damaged or exposed due to building destruction, erosion, and soil displacement. Building and site damage includes roof sheathing, shingles, waterproofing underlayment, fascia, soffits, drywall, insulation, aluminum fence posts, and concrete columns.
