Disaster Recovery Site - West County Mini Transfer Station

This page is a Disaster Recovery Site of multiple projects related to Storm Damages.

Project Description

Hurricane Ian caused damage to multiple recycling facilities. The Recycling Convenience Drop-Off Center sustained roof and exterior damage, while the Recycling Office Building experienced roof and interior ceiling damage. Interior fixtures and contents were affected, and gutters sustained minor damage.

Approximately 580 linear feet of six-foot chain link security fencing and poles were damaged, along with five signs and their posts. Some roof damage was also noted in the Hazmat area, though it did not affect the top drop-off section.
