Project Description
This project will install an eight-inch water main along Hillsborough Boulevard from Yorkshire Street to U.S. 41. The water main will be installed parallel to the Peace River Manasota Water Authority’s 42-inch Phase 2B Pipeline.
The Peace River Manasota Water Authority’s Regional Integrated Loop Phase 2B Pipeline is a 42-inch steel potable water transmission main that will start at the Authority's existing 42-inch Regional Interconnect. The main will be installed along Hillsborough Boulevard to Chancellor Boulevard to Campbell Street, then under the Myakka River to connect to the Gulf Coast Booster Station.
This segment of the regional integrated loop system will boost regional resiliency, bidirectional water transfer capability and lays the groundwork for the southern regional loop with future pipeline projects.
