Adrew Site Work was awarded this project as the prime contractor. Notice to proceed date for construction was 8-25-25.
*** On 3-30-26 a dump truck traveling through the intersection with the truck bed up hit the newly installed mast arm crossing Harborview Rd severely damaging it. This incident will greatly increase the completion date of this project. Mast arms have a 4 - 6-month lead time on manufacturing. ***
ASW and Sub-contractors have poured three of the four drill shaft foundations and have since installed those three mast arms and signal heads. Additional recent work includes installation of signalization directional bores, pedestrian crossing bases, underground conduit and pull boxes. The drill shaft and mast arm on the SE corner of the intersection is delayed until the overhead FPL power can be relocated. FPL power line relocation efforts have begun. That work is ongoing. Comcast utilities also in conflict have also begun relocation efforts and that work is ongoing.
Upcoming work: ASW plans to start the work on mast arm 1-2 once relocations are complete, as well power supply service pole installs, and traffic control cabinet install on the NW corner.
