Mid County Transfer Station Wall

Project Description

The existing fence at the Mid County Transfer Station has been replaced several times due to storm damage. This project will replace the existing fence with a storm-engineered concrete block wall designed to secure the area and better withstand severe weather conditions.

Project Location

The project is located along the property line of the Mid County Transfer Station along Veterans Highway

Project Impacts

Most of the project will not impact normal operations of the facility. However, one phase will require blocking access to the trailers, making that portion of the transfer station temporarily unavailable. This phase will not exceed 30 days. Recycling and hazardous waste services will remain available, and advance notice will be provided prior to any service interruption.

Latest Updates

The project design has been completed, and we are moving forward with advertising. Once bids are received and evaluated, the contract will be awarded and construction will begin.
