Project Description
The Oyster Creek Bridge sustained damage during Hurricane Ian and has qualified as a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP) project.
The project involves repairs to Bridge No. 010063 on CR 775 over Oyster Creek to restore it to pre-hurricane conditions. Identified damage includes a displaced light pole at the northwest corner, deterioration of the south bulkhead at the west angle break near piles 2–3, one damaged panel to the west, two panels to the east, and the angle break panel showing undermining up to 4 inches in height with full penetration and evidence of backfill leakage. Additionally, three light poles were downed and require replacement.

Project Activity – June 2025
The design phase is complete, pending final environmental permitting. Once all necessary permits are secured and final approval is received from the Florida Department of Transportation, the project will proceed to the construction bidding phase.
