Project Description
This project is the coordinated efforts of Seminole Gulf Railway, Charlotte County Public Works for improvements across Peace River Shores Boulevard. Public Works' Maintenance & Operations Division will be replacing road crossing pipes prior to Seminole Gulf Railway replacing railroad tracking. Public Works' Engineering Division will have its paving contractor resurface the road once the railroad has completed their enhancement project.

Public Works’ Maintenance & Operations Division is currently working on road crossing pipe replacements ahead of Seminole Gulf Railway’s enhancement project. This phase of the project is anticipated for another two weeks, detours are in place while the construction zone is active. Motorists are advised to remain alert at all times and exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
