Latest Updates

The project began on January 5, 2026.  Riverside Park will be closed through April, 2026.

Because this boat ramp is going to be formed and poured concrete, it requires a coffer dam to allow the concrete to cure in a dry environment for a specified amount of time.  Turbidity barriers are also required to minimize particulates entering the marine environment during the construction process.  To date, the turbidity barriers have been installed.  The coffer dam has been errected.  The area within the coffer dam has been drained.

Next steps include removing the old boat ramp and excavating the earth to allow the concrete forms to be installed and concrete to be poured.
