Project Description
Bridge 014113 Rotonda Boulevard over Rotonda River was severely damaged during Hurricane Ian and is closed to all traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian. This project involves procuring an engineering firm to design a replacement bridge that will restore the structure to full service, followed by contracting with a construction firm to complete the new bridge.

Upcoming Project Activities - June 2026
The design and permitting of the bridge has now been completed. The County is currently working through the FEMA process to put the project out to bid for construction as quickly as we are able to do so.
