The county hired an engineering firm to design either the repairs or the reconstruction of the 014113 bridge. As a first step, the consultant conducted and submitted a feasibility study to determine the most cost-effective solution. This analysis and design process, which began July 7, 2023, includes permitting and coordination with all appropriate environmental and regulatory agencies, including FEMA, to develop plans and specifications for bidding.
We have received the feasibility study and are in discussions with FEMA to determine the appropriate scope of work (rehabilitate or completely remove and replace) based on all factors.
