Project Description
Rotonda West MSBU has 17 bridges needing design services to implement the FDOT maintenance and repair items for each of the respective bridges.
Due to Hurricane Ian, bridge #014113 sustained substantial damage and was closed to all traffic, we had to remove this bridge from the current RLI design contract. Bridge #014113 will need to be rehabilitated or replaced, we currently have a separtate design contract for this bridge.
The deisgn for bridge #014111 is complete but ON HOLD until after bridge #014113 has been designed and construction is completed.

Currently this project is ON HOLD.
The design firm has completed the 100% design plans and technical specification for bridge #014111. Staff has reviewed and approved plans. The County is going to wait to put this project out for construction until bridge #014113 (suffered major damage from Hurricane Ian) has been repair due to traffic conflicts.
