Sandhill Boulevard Widening

Project Description

The project will replace the existing two-lane roadway on Sandhill Boulevard from Kings Highway to Deep Creek Boulevard, including intersection improvements at Capricorn Boulevard and Deep Creek Boulevard. Possible relocations of existing Charlotte County and Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority utilities may be necessary.

Latest Updates

The 60% roadway construction plans have been reviewed by County staff, and comments have been returned to Johnson Engineering for review and revision.

Johnson Engineering is currently coordinating the 60% Charlotte County Utilities components and is also progressing with the right-of-way and proposed property sites for the stormwater pond locations.
